Finished my first little bit of work for Intermediate Studio today. Anneké asked us to bring something in for Monday to do with Taxonomy/Folksonomy and shoes, after talking with a few students we decided making a stop motion animation for the piece would be pretty good!
I had a basic idea of what I'd like to do in my head, I could have done more planning but seeing as this wasn't a proper project piece I decided to just wing it. First I collected what I needed...

| Tools of the Trade |
A tripod, camera, remote, loads of shoes and Packet of Monster Munch.
After a few set ups and test shots I decided to bung everything in the cupboard and animate as if the shoes organised themselves under the leadership of the mighty converse. Of course I couldn't stop motion animate shoes without having some walking around! So I decided on lining them up in the corridor military style whilst the pair converse marched down and climbed back into the first. I actually forgot about the slippers... but got around it with a bit of narrative! See for yourself.
