For Visual Studies Anneké asked us to work in pairs and write a 50 word profile on each other, one personal, one professional and one a mix of the both to be used in a studio.
Me and Karl set about writing about each other, after presenting it to Anneké and Jay we were asked to use fonts to present the writing in an effective way, these pieces were to be on an A3 sheet.
It was a nice quick project, here are the finished pieces.. (note because of the white background on 2 of the images they wont look to be A3).
On the first one I tried to pick a specfic font for a group of words, an example of this is the social part where I've copied the style of Facebook.
The Second one I tried to make it interesting by making the text follow a spiral pattern, this way the viewer will have to move and tilt their head to read.
The final one is my favourite, its in the style of the film Pulp Fiction. The opening titles are more or less the exact same. I like this piece as it really stands out to the viewer, and by making it small as the text progresses it adds a bit more interest as.
